Support Parent Training for Families of Children with Hearing Loss

Parent to Parent of NYS Support Parent Training for Families of Children with Hearing Loss.  A Support Parent is a parent or primary caregiver of an individual with special needs who resides in New York State and wants to help other families in situations similar to those they have faced.  This free training is open to parents of any age child with hearing loss. You are under no obligation to become a Support Parent by attending this training. You will receive a manual for your personal use. You will also receive valuable information on resources you can offer to other parents as well as training on how to be an active listener and source of comfort for other parents.
