Assemblyman Ray Walter will host a free screening of Disney’s ‘Moana’ for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and their families at Eastern Hills Cinema in Williamsville on Saturday, June 17 at 10 a.m. Tickets to this viewing party are limited, and potential attendees must RSVP before June 9 to reserve their seat.
Offered in partnership with the Developmental Disabilities Alliance of Western New York, Dipson Theaters, People Inc., and The Summit Center, this event will offer attendees the chance to walk the red carpet and have their picture taken like a Hollywood movie star. Additionally, the event will feature a number of autism-friendly amenities, including house lights on at half capacity, lower volume and a judgement free venue.
“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the dedicated community partners that made this red carpet event possible,” said Walter. “These organizations work tirelessly to provide children on the autism spectrum and their families convenient access to the resources and care they need, and I look forward to continuing to collaborate with them toward this common goal.”
To reserve your seats for the June 17 red carpet screening of Moana, RSVP before June 9 by calling (716) 634-1895. You must RSVP to attend this event.
